CONTEXTUALIZACIÓN

 

The aim of the subject is to offer the student the ability to develop a documental research about an important topic related to the contents of the degree. Such research must be proposed to and approved by the tutor.

The contents focus on the formal format of citation  (according to APA, Vancouver etc.) and research on academic database.

  1. Capacity to devise, develop and evaluate teaching-learning processes related to physical activity and sports, bearing in mind the characteristics and circumstances of each individual and assuming the necessary educational, technical and curricular principles.
  2. Capacity to transmit attitudes and values as a working professional in all fields of physical activity and sport, participating in the improvement of society.
  3. Capacity to plan, program, apply, control and evaluate training and competition processes at their different levels and for different age groups.
  4. Capacity to analyze and apply physiological, biomechanical, psychological and social principles to the different fields of physical activity, sport and recreation.
  5. Capacity to identify unsuitable practices that pose a health risk, in order to avoid them and correct them in the different types of population.
  6. Capacity to assess fitness levels and motor skills, prescribing and programming physical exercises geared towards health at different ages.

EVALUACIÓN

 

The grading system and assessment process is always fully explained and published by the course lecturer at the beginning of each course and every course establishes a system that  enable students to be graded on their continuous evolution and development.

 

A document about the state of the art in the selected topic is compulsory.

The evaluation concludes with the recognition of the learning level achieved by the student, presented by a numerical qualification, according to the current legislation.

 

 

 

 


NORMATIVA ESPECÍFICA

Those students with particular difficulties to meet the course requirements will have a chance to attend to one hour of mentoring per week.

Expert peer interventions will be integrated in the normal schedule in order to reduce the probability to fail.
