CONTEXT

The Situation of Volleyball:


1. The volleyball as a sport, is not well-known in our society yet.
2. Volleyball is included in the secondary education curriculum as a main content.
3. Volleyball in school programs, is currently increasing.

COMPETENCES

GENERAL SKILLS:

o             Self-sufficient learning.

 SPECIFIC SKILLS:

o Ability to design, develop and assessment of teaching-learning process related to Physical Activity and Sport. Making focus in personal and contextual standings in conjunction with the education standings, technics and curricular.

o Ability to instill attitude and principles in their all sport environment professional practice, taking part of the society improvement.

o Ability to plan, program, apply, check and assess training and competition process in their different levels and ages.   

o Ability to select and know how to use the properly materials and sport equipment for each type of activity in correlation with the technical characteristics of the different sports fields.  

o Ability to analyze and plan the main physiology, biomechanic, psychology and social principles related to the different fields of Physical Activity, Sports and recreation. 

o Ability to identify inappropriate practices related to health risk factors in order to avoid and correct them focused in the different groups of population.  

 


TOPICS

U.D. 0: Volleyball in its social and historical context.

U.D. 1: Process Development: Programming pedagogical situations: MINIVOLEY

U.D. 2: Concepts and elements of the teaching-learning process of volleyball.

U.D. 3: Basic models of execution. Technical implementation and execution style.

U.D. 4: Basic strategy. Basic systems of initiation 6 vs 6.


ACTIVITIES
  1. Bibliographic search
  2. Self-assessment
  3. Diary report
  4. Identification of technical and tactical errors.

EVALUATION

1.       Continuos Assessment: 

To access this evaluation, students must assist to class (minimum percentage required) and present all the works and projects required.

 It is divided into 3 categories, up to a total of 10 point: 

  1. Objetive Test
  2. Assitence
  3. Practices

 

1. OBJETIVE TEST:

Consists on theoretical questions (test or development) and practical application questions, which will be evaluated in 0-10.

 

2. ASSITENCE:

 

A minimum of 80% assistance is required.

 

3. PRACTICES:

  1. We will have to make 3-class practices developed through active methodologies.
  2. Practices will need to make 2 "off class".

 

 

2.       Not continuos Assessment

Evaluation for those students who don´t comply the minimum requirements of assistance: exceed 80% of total aid.

 

Theoretical and practical test: will consist of theoretical questions (test or development) and practical application questions, which will be evaluated from 0 to 10.
