Basic Manual therapy

This subject is taught during the first year of a degree in physiotherapy.

CONTEXT

This course provides students the necessary tools for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the patient through the CPM as a method of treatment of physiotherapy.

The student will be able to evaluate and carry out a diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment based on CPM passive and active techniques.

It is a subject which, together with basic physical therapy, is part of a same module. It develops content and basic skills that will be entrenched in higher grades.


STUDY MODE

The subject is attending in person. Combine the theoretical and practical classes in which the student will participate actively.

On a complementary basis will take place different dynamics and activities to be submitted online through the Virtual Campus.

SPECIFIC REGULATIONS

The subject is taught in Spanish.

 

Students must overcome this subject to be able to study the subjects of special techniques in physical therapy I and II, stays clinical I, I osteopathy, osteopathy II and muscle chains.
