The aim of this course is to provide students an overview of the neurological patient whose purpose is the acquisition of knowledge to assess and make appropriate treatment for this specific group .
It aims to provide students with necessary skills to ask questions and solve particular problems that arise in neurological physiotherapy practice. The ability to work cooperatively with other professionals , identifying themselves as a group with a common project and making a commitment with the determined goals.
Neurological physiotherapy is a six-month long subject that take place on the third of the degree in Physiotherapy.

CE 140:To know about the healthcare environment related to the neurological patient either adults or children , including environmental or contextual factors that are related to each case.
CE 141: Analysis of normal human movement , and children neuro - development at its various stages and components.
CE 142: Integration of knowledge of different neurological diseases related to both patient pediatric and adult .
CE 143: Reflection ability, synthesis and evaluation regarding the diversity of diagnoses therapies and individuals in the neurocognitive area.
CE 144: Understanding and learning methods of recognition or measurement of the functional capabilities of the neurological patient.
CE 145: To Identify and be able to apply specific methods of physiotherapy actions related to the different pathologies of the specialties of medicine and surgery , and for the promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of disease . Such methods are referred to, among others: a neurological processes reflex and therapeutic techniques , alternative, complementary or related to the Physiotherapy.
Theoretical and practical study of physiotherapy procedures for the recognition or measurement of skills or functional abilities of neurological patients.
